Mondays 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Whitehorse Elementary: Fitness training using body weights, dumbbells and kettle bells. Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Whitehorse Elementary gym: Fitness training using body weights, dumbbells and kettle bells. Saturday 9:3- - 11:00 am at CGC: Reactive movement skills and endurance training. (*Bracelet is required to attend) Fee options: A) 2-3 days/week = $350 B) 1 days/week = $150 SUMMER
May - August Tuesday - Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 pm Ages: 20 and up This program is open to adults who are looking to improve their paddling technique and will welcome a wide range of participants. If you are a marathon canoe or kayak paddler, a flatwater paddler who wants to improve technique and endurance, or just wanting to try out and train in the sport of sprint canoe-kayak, this program is for you. The adult program will be catered to the specific needs of the participants.
Focus will be on goal setting, paddling technique, endurance, fitness, and using the collective motivation of a group setting to help you reach your personal goals. For adults learning to compete in sprint canoe or kayak, a goal to compete at the Pacific Cup of travelling with a coach to a fun sprint canoe kayak race in Maple Ridge on the weekend of Sept 8-9, 2018. Tuesday - Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 pm - starts when the ice is off the water Payment Options: A) Full summer = $300 B) Per month = $100 |
