Canada Games Center
Come work out with a motivated group of youth this fall and work on strength, conditioning and cardio.
Sessions will vary between the track and the wellness center with Coach Daniel Girouard on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Canada Games Center.
In the second and third week of October participants will be offered a one-hour session with the Strength and Conditioning trainer who will provide them with a paddling specific work out program. These sessions will be booked 2 athletes at a time with trainer (times will vary depending on availability).
Trainers will be on site to help guide the athletes through their personalized training program as needed.
Wrist bands are required for gym access. Youth requiring wrist bands can request them from the Flatwater North account at the front desk.

6:30 – 8:00 am Monday – Thursday
For athletes 14+ who are on the competitive track to compete in sprint canoe kayak this summer and beyond. Their focus will be to compete in national team trials and/or Western Canada Games. This training is in preparation for Western Canada Summer Games in 2019. Athletes must commit to attending a minimum of 6 sessions per week.
