Welcome to the Great White North!

We are Whitehorse's home for the NORTHERN MOST SPRINT PADDLING CLUB IN NORTH AMERICA!   Discover a variety of year-round paddling programs for all ages and skill levels. Located at the beautiful Schwatka Lake Day Use Area (on Chadburn Lake Road).
  • Canoe Kids Day Camps Our action-packed day camps are all about fun, water safety, and fundamental paddling skills. Perfect for kids who want to spend their summer playing outdoors, making new friends, and exploring the lake in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Regatta Ready Program Ready to take paddling to the next level? This bridging program introduces youth to the basics of sprint racing. Paddlers will develop better technique, build fitness, and get a thrilling taste of what it’s like to line up at the start gate—all with a focus on team spirit and personal growth.
  • Sprint Competitive Designed for dedicated athletes looking to push their limits. This stream offers structured, high-performance training focused on speed, endurance, and technical excellence in sprint kayak and canoe. Athletes will train to compete locally and represent Flatwater North on the larger stage.
  • Dragon Boating A standard boat seats 20 paddlers (plus a drummer and a steersperson), while mini-boats seat 10. Races typically span 200m, 500m (usually finished under 2 minutes), and 2000m.
Join us for our inaugural Midnight Sun Competition, designed specifically for beginners. Click here to learn more or contact us at [email protected] for more information.
